The 2016 PBA D-League Draft took place on Tuesday (December 20) at the PBA Cafe in Metrowalk, Pasig City, consisting of eight teams with 18 rounds.
The top overall pick in the draft was Jeron Teng, the two-time champion out of De La Salle University, and was selected by the AMA Online Education Titans.
Colegio de San Juan de Letran’s Jom Sollano was picked second overall by Tanduay Rhum, while San Lorenzo College’s Jun Gabriel went to the Racal Tile Masters as the third overall pick.
The PBA D-League Aspirants Cup commences on January 19, 2017.
After his stint in Asean Basketball League as import, Jason Brickman was expected to go somewhere in the first round. Instead, he fell to pick fourth round, 26th overall, where the Tanduay Rhum selected him.
