The Aces, who trailed by nine points in the last two minutes, improved to 2-2 in the 2017 PBA Philippine Cup on Wednenday (December 14).
Chris Banchero clinched the Alaska Aces come-from-behind victory over Meralco Bolts, 81-79, with a triple from the right corner with 4.1 seconds remaining.
Jvee Casio and RJ Jazul also buried their own triples in the 10-0 run that pushed the Aces ahead at 78-77 with 27.3 seconds to go.
Vic Manuel, the best player of the game, was the leading scorer for Alaska with 22 points to go with 10 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal, and two blocks.
Chris Newsome scored a game-high 23 points with 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the Bolts.
