The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters notched their second win of the conference, beating Mahindra Flood Buster 105-83 in the 2017 PBA Philippine Cup at Ynares Center in Antipolo City on Wednesday (November 30).
James Yap made his season debut for the Elasto Painters scoring 10 points, including two three-pointers for his 1,001th career three and moved past Al Solis into fifth-place on the all-time three-pointers list.
Jericho Cruz led Rain or Shine with 15 points, four assists and 4-out-of-7 from the arc, while Maverick Ahanmisi added 14. Chris Tiu tallied 11.
Russel Escoto, Alex Mallari, and Jonathan Paniamogan all had 10 points each to lead Mahindra.
Gary David, who signed with Mahindra just last Tuesday, only scored one point after missing all his nine shots in 11 minutes off the bench in his own debut.
