The Star Hotshots blitzed Mahindra Floodbuster in the second quarter and never looked back en route to their fourth straight victory.
Tony Mitchell, who had an emphatic windmill dunk in the third quarter, scored a team-high 19 points with 14 rebounds and six blocks to lead Hotshots to a 97-83 win over the Floodbuster in the 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup on Wednesday, April 5.
Alex Mallari scored a game-high 24 points and added six rebounds for Floodbuster, who now fell to 1-4 win-loss record. Keith Wright, the new import for Mahindra, contributed 17 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 blocks.
