The Gilas Pilipinas will open its campaign at the 2017 SEABA Championship against Myanmar.
The Philippines is ranked 27th in the FIBA rankings, while Myanmar is just returning to the tournament after a 10-year absence.
The last time Philippines and Myanmar played each other in basketball game it was December 2013 in the 27th SEA Games. The Philippine national men's basketball team dominated Myanmar, 118-43.
The Gilas will look to continue their dominance over Myanmar.
Jayson Castro, June Mar Fajardo and Andray Blatche are back in the national team to lead Gilas Pilipinas. The team also features Calvin Abueva, Terrence Romeo, Japeth Aguilar and Troy Rosario. The rest of the roster includes new recruits Raymond Almazan, Jio Jalalon, Allein Maliksi, Roger Ray Pogoy and Matthew Wright.
