NLEX Road Warriors victoriously opened their 2017 PBA Governors' Cup campaign. They defeated the Alaska Aces, 112-102 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday, July 19.
Import Aaron Fuller had double-double of 30 points and 20 rebounds to pace the NLEX.
Kevin Alas, the best player of the game, added 20 points and eight rebounds for the winners.
Comebacking import LaDontae Henton responded with 27 points and nine rebounds, while Simon Enciso netted 21 for the Alaska in the defeat.
