CSB Blazers overcame a 15-point deficit in the third quarter to beat Mapua Cardinals 74-69 in the first round of NCAA Season 93 men’s basketball tournament Tuesday (August 8) at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
JJ Domingo scored a a new career-high 24 points to go with four rebounds to lead the College of St. Benilde. Clement Leutcheu added 14 markers and 17 boards.
Christian Bunag answered with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks for Mapua University.
