Highlights: Ginebra beat Meralco, 86-76, grabs 2-0 lead

The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel grabbed a 2-0 lead in the 2017 PBA Governors' Cup finals after a come-from-behind 86-76 win over the Meralco Bolts on Sunday, October 15.

Down by 6 points with a little under 6 minutes left in the game, Ginebra made a 10-0 run, to take a 79-75 advantage and to control the final moments of the game.

Justin Brownlee paced Ginebra with a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds. LA Tenorio, the best player of the game, scored 10 of his 14 points in the final period. He also had three assists and two steals.

Japeth Aguilar added 16 markers and 8 boards while Scottie Thompson and Joe Devance combined for 19 points and 15 rebounds.

Allen Durham led the Meralco with 25 points and 22 boards.
