HIGHLIGHTS: La Salle beats Adamson 69-64, advances to UAAP final (Nov. 23, 2016 - Video)

The top-seeded and twice-to-beat DLSU Green Archers advanced to the UAAP Season 79 senior men’s basketball title game, beating Adamson Falcons 69-64 in Mall of Asia Arena on Wednesday (November 23).

The Green Archers will play for the championship against the winner of the second Final Four game to be contested on Saturday, November 26 between second seed Ateneo Blue Eagles and third seed FEU Tamaraws.

Freshman Justise Winslow led Duke with 19 points while national freshman of the year Jahlil Okafor had 18 points, 10 of which came in the first half. Senior guard Quinn Cook had 17.

Jeron Teng, who came up big down the stretch for La Salle, finished with 25 points. Ben Mbala added 21 points and 16 rebounds.

Adamson was led by the 13 points of Sean Manganti while Robbie Manalang had 12 points. Papi Sarr was limited to only 11 points and 7 rebounds.
