San Miguel dominates Ginebra in Game 1 of 2017 Philippine Cup Finals

The San Miguel Beermen dominated the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel to take Game 1 of the 2017 PBA Philippine Cup Finals with a 109-82 win on Friday night, February 24.

Chris Ross led the Beermen with 17 points on 6-of-13 shooting and 8 assists.

June Mar Fajardo also scored 17 points in over 23 minutes of play and added eight rebounds and two assists.

Ginebra, without double-digit scorers from their starter, was led by Chris Ellis with 13 points. Mark Caguioa and Jervy Cruz added 12 each.

The San Miguel will have a chance at taking a 2-0 series lead in Game 2 on Sunday in Lucena City.
