The San Miguel Beermen defeated the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel 109-82 in Game 1 of 2017 PBA Philippine Cup Finals to take a 1-0 series lead on February 24.
Chris Ross led the Beermen with 17 points and eight assists as June Mar Fajardo added 17 points and eight rebounds.
Chris Ellis led the Ginebra with 13 points, three rebounds and two assists in the losing effort.
