Eugene Phelps scored 53 points as the Phoenix Fuel Masters outlasted the Blackwater Elite in double overtime, 118-116, on Saturday night, March 18, in the 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
Phelps also had 21 rebounds along with five blocks, and one assists in 54 minutes.
Import Greg Smith, a former Houston Rocket player, tallied 37 points and 30 rebounds for Blackwater in a losing effort. Mac Belo contributed with 21 markers and eight boards.
