2017 SEABA Championship schedule and results for Gilas Pilipinas

During the next week, the Philippine national basketball team-Gilas Pilipinas will face six other nations in the 2017 SEABA Championship in a quest for the lone ticket to 2017 FIBA Asia Cup.

The national team coach by Chot Reyes will open its campaign on May 12 against Myanmar. Gilas Pilipinas will then take on Singapore on May 13 followed by a May 14 contest against Malaysia.

Gilas will be having a rest day on May 15 and will continue their battle on May 16 against Thailand.

The Philippines will play Vietnam on May 17, and Indonesia on May 18, the final day of 2017 SEABA Championship.

All games will be at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippine.

The Philippines has dominated the SEABA Championship games since 1994, and Gilas Pilipinas once again will try to continue the run in this year's regional tournament to advance to 2017 FIBA Asia Cup.

The final 12 who have given the task to clinch the lone berth reserved for Southeast Asia include Calvin Abueva, Japeth Aguilar, Raymond Almazan, Andray Blatche, June Mar Fajardo, Allein Maliksi, Jovani Jalalon, Roger Pogoy, Terence Romeo, Troy Rosario, Jason Castro and Matthew Wright.
