Philippine national team coach Chot Reyes released the Gilas Pilipinas 24-man pool for the upcoming 2017 FIBA Asia Cup next month in Beirut, Lebanon.

The list contains the names of both PBA veteran players as well as Gilas cadets.
Gilas veterans June Mar Fajardo, Jayson Castro, Japeth Aguilar, Terrence Romeo, Calvin Abueva, Troy Rosario, naturalized player Andray Blatche along with returnee Gabe Norwood lead the 24-man list for FIBA Asia.
The other members are Raymond Almazan, Jio Jalalon, Allein Maliksi and Matthew Wright.
Also included are cadets Kiefer Ravena, Roger Pogoy, Mike Tolomia, Norbert Torres, Carl Bryan Cruz, Kevin Alas, Kevin Ferrer, Baser Amer, Mac Belo, Kobe Paras, Bobby Ray Parks and Fil-German Christian Standhardinger.
From 24 players list, the coaching staff will select the final 12 players for the final lineup, which will compete from August 8 to 20.
The Philippines was drawn into Group B and will be competing in the group stage against China, Qatar and Iraq
