The Lyceum Pirates held on to defeat the EAC Generals, 97-93, in the first round of NCAA Season 93 men’s basketball tournament Thursday (August 10) at the Emilio Aguinaldo College Sports and Cultural Center.
Jaycee Marcelino led Lyceum of the Philippines University with 20 points, five rebounds, three assists, and four steals.
CJ Perez also collected 20 markers to go with three boards and five assists, while Mike Nzeusseu had a double-double with 17 points and 19 rebounds.
Francis Munsayac scored career-high 26 points with four assists and two rebounds in the defeat for Emilio Aguinaldo College.
