The Star Hotshots remained unbeaten in three games after defeating the San Miguel Beermen, 104-98, on Friday, August 4.
Import Malcolm Hill had team-high 20 points and nine rebounds while Ian Sangalang recorded a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds, to carry the Star as they take advantage of the absence of injured June Mar Fajardo.
Wendell McKines led San Miguel with 27 points and 22 rebounds in the loss while Marcio Lassiter added 24.
