Clint Doliguez stepped up with 22 points and eight rebounds, and the San Beda Red Lions defeated the JRU Heavy Bombers with an 54-48 victory in the first round of NCAA Season 93 men’s basketball tournament Friday (August 4) at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Javee Mocon contributed with seven points, 15 rebounds, and five assists for San Beda College to improve their record to 5-1.
Aaron Bordon and Jed Mendoza finished with 13 and 12 points, respectively to lead Jose Rizal University, who dropped their record to 2-3.
