Donald Tankoua had 11 points and 16 rebounds to help the San Beda Red Lions beat the Mapua Cardinals 66-55 in the first round of NCAA Season 93 men’s basketball tournament Friday (August 11) at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Javee Mocon added 10 points and six rebounds for the San Beda College.
Christian Bunag stepped up for Mapua University with 20 points and 18 rebounds in the team’s fifth consecutive defeat.
