Bong Quinto’s layup with 12.6 ticks to go gave Letran Knights a 63-61 win over Perpetual Altas in the first round of NCAA Season 93 men’s basketball tournament Friday (August 11) at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Quinto finished with 14 points, nine rebounds, and three assists for Colegio de San Juan de Letran. Rey Nambatac added 12 points and 15 rebounds.
University of Perpetual Help System DALTA was led by Prince Eze's 18 points and 16 rebounds.
