Thirdy Ravena fired off a team-high 16 points and rookie Tyler Tio added 14 on a perfect six-of-six shooting as the Ateneo Blue Eagles defeated the UP Fighting Maroons 92-71 on Wednesday, September 13.
With the win, Ateneo de Manila University improved their record to 2-0.
Juan Gomez De Liano led the way for the University of the Philippines with 16 points, seven rebounds and two steals in the loss.
Maroons' first game hero Paul Desiderio was limited to just nine points on 4-18 shooting.
