Highlights: Brownlee leads Ginebra in blowout Game 1 win over Meralco

The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel opened the 2017 PBA Governors' Cup finals with a dominating 102-87 victory against Meralco Bolts on Friday, October 13 at the Quezon Convention Center in Lucena City.

Import Justin Brownlee had 32 points, 19 rebounds, and six assists to lead Ginebra to Game 1 win.

Japeth Aguilar finished with 15 while Greg Slaughter, who played his first finals game in the PBA, added 14 markers.

Allen Durham led the Meralco with 27 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists while Baser Amer contributed 14 points.
