ABL Finals: Alab Pilipinas vs. Mono Vampire (Game 2 - April 25, 2018)

After a record-breakings Game 1 win, San Miguel Alab Pilipinas will go for a commanding 2-0 lead over Mono Vampire Basketball Club.

Alab imports Justin Brownlee and Renaldo Balkman came to the rescue as Alab Pilipinas took Game 1 in overtime, 143-130.

Brownlee had 46 points, who breaks the record for most points in an ABL Finals game and ties the ABL Playoffs record scored by Balkman, led the San Miguel. Balkman, who converted a putback that tied the game at the end of regulation, added 39 markers.

Bobby Ray Parks tallied 27 points, enough to break the Local Players Finals scoring record set by Asi Taulava in 2013.

Meanwhile, the Mono Vampire come into this game looking to even the series and take the series back to Thailand tied at one game each.

The Mono Vampire stole home-court advantage from the Alab Pilipinas after pulling out a 103-100 victory in Game 2.

Sam Deguara had 30 points, 20 rebounds and two blocks to lead the Mono Vampire.

Mike Singletary delivered 26 points, seven rebounds and eight assists to help Mono even the series at 1-1.

Renaldo Balkman led Alab with 37 points, 12 rebounds and six assists.
