The Batang Gilas will be playing in the 2017 FIBA Under-16 Asian Championship (2018).
The tournament will be held in Foshan Lingnan Mingzhu Gymnasium in Foshan, China from 2 to 8 April 2018.
The Philippines men's national under-16 basketball team is in Group B with Australia and Malaysia.
The top four from the FIBA U16 Asia will represent the continent at the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2018 in Argentina.
