The Beermen managed to overcome a 23-point deficit to defeat the Magnolia Hotshot, 108-99, in double overtime in Game 5 of their best-of-seven final series.

June Mar Fajardo, the Final MVP, led San Miguel with 42 points and 20 rebounds. Arwind Santos, who knocked down a three-pointer to force the first OT, compiled 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting, including three triples, 11 boards, four blocks, and two assists.

Chris Ross flirted with quadruple-double of 13 points, 11 boards, 11 assists, and eight steals.

Paul Lee tallied 21 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and two steals to lead the Hotshots.
