Green, Warriors win Game 2, even the series against Raptors

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Raptors 109-104 in Game 2 on Sunday (Monday, PHL time), to even the series at 1-1.

Klay Thompson, who scored 11 of Warriors' first 13 points, finished with 25 points before leaving with a hamstring injury and missed the final 7:59 of the game.

Stephen Curry added 23 markers for the Warriors, while Draymond Green filled up the stat sheet with 17 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists, two steals and one block.

Golden State, trailing by five points at half, ran off the first 18 points of the third quarter on their way to Game 2 victory.

Toronto went scoreless for the first 5:40 of the third quarter.

The Raptors scored 10 straight points to cut it to 106-104 after Fred VanVleet scored his 17 points on a three-pointer with 26.9 seconds to go.

However, Andre Iguodala sealed the win on a three-pointer with seven seconds left.

Kawhi Leonard led Toronto with 34 points and 14 rebounds. Pascal Siakam, who finished with only 12 points, could not replicate his 32-point performance from Game 1.

Kyle Lowry contributed 13 points for the Raptors, while Marc Gasol, who finished with 20 points in Game 1, was limited to just six points.

Game 3 is Wednesday night (Thursday, PHL Time) at Golden State.
