KJ McDaniels had a monster game as the TnT Katropa held off the Niigata Albirex Basketball, 99-90, to end their East Asia League Terrific 12 campaign on a winning note.
Reinforcement McDaniels finished with 47 points and 17 rebounds on Thursday, September 19, to lead the TNT. He scored 11 of the KaTropa’s last 14 points to help the team secure the victory.
RR Pogoy added 27 points, five rebounds and five steals, while Almond Vosotros contributed 12 off the bench.
With the loss in the opening day against Liaoning, TNT failed to advance in the semifinals and ended The Terrific 12 win 1-1 win-loss record.
Import Nick Perkins led Niigata with 34 points and 12 rebounds in the loss.
