The San Beda Red Lions continue to remain undefeated after another victory against JRU Heavy Bombers, 65-47, in the NCAA Season 95 men's basketball tournament on Thursday, September 19 at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
San Beda was limited to six points in second period and was down 31-27 at the half. But the Red Lions responded in the second half and only allowed Heavy Bombers 12 points in the third and then four points in the final period to their 12th straight victory.
James Canlas finished with 18 points on efficient 7-of-12 shooting to go along with seven rebounds, two assists and a steal for the Red Lions.
Calvin Oftana added 12 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three blocks, while Evan Nelle tallied 11 points and four assists.
Agem Miranda had 14 points to lead the Heavy Bombers, who dropped their record to 4-8.
