The Chery Tiggo Crossovers clinched the 2021 PVL Open Conference title after defeating the Creamline Cool Smashers in five thrilling sets in the winner-take-all Game 3 Friday at the PCV Socio-Civic and Cultural Center in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte.
Chery Tiggo came back from two sets down and beat Creamline, 23-25, 20-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-8.
Dindin Santiago-Manabat and Jaja Santiago led the Crossovers to the championship via a comeback fashion.
Santiago-Manabat top-scored for Chery Tiggo with 32 points, including 30 attacks. Santiago, who bagged the Most Valuable Player and Finals MVP awards, posted recorded 26 points with 22 attacks and four blocks.
Tots Carlos led Creamline with 22 points, while Alyssa Valdez added 17 points.
