Gilas Pilipinas 16-man pool for 31st SEA Games in Vietnam

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) on Friday named the 16 players who will compose the Gilas Pilipinas pool for the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Gilas Pilipinas will be looking for their 14th straight gold medal in the biennial regional multi-sport event. The Philippines is the winningest basketball team in the SEA Games with 20 medals, 18 of which were gold while two were silvers.

Originally scheduled to take place from November 21 to December 2, 2021, the 31st SEA Games was moved to May 12 - 23, 2022 due to COVID-19 pandemic.
