The University Athletic Association of the Philippines men’s basketball tournament returns on October 1 as the UAAP opens its 85th Season.
The UAAP Season 85 schedule will return to its pre-pandemic format, with games airing every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The Adamson University will serve as the league's host for this season.

On October 1 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Season 85 host Adamson will face off against the University of Santo Tomas (UST) to kick off the event.
The Final Four rematch between the defending champion UP and DLSU will serve as the main game of the Day 1 doubleheader.
The UAAP will make its long-awaited return to Pasig's PhilSports Arena on October 5 with a quadruple-header.
The first La Salle-Ateneo game will follow the game between UST and NU on October 9 in the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
As announced by the UAAP, the second round of the UAAP Season 85 Men's Basketball Tournament will begin on October 29.
On November 27, the playoff games will be played if necessary to break ties in the Final Four positions.
The semifinals will begin on Nov. 30, while the finals will start on Dec. 7.
The cheerleading competition is set for December 10.
