Savi Davison, despite missing out on the MVP race due to PLDT's earlier elimination, delivered a stellar performance in her potential season finale. She erupted for a game-high 27 points, showcasing her offensive prowess and leading the charge for the Hitters. Erika Santos (15 points) and Fiola Ceballos (13 points) provided valuable support, contributing significantly to the win.

This victory marks a significant moment for the PLDT High Speed Hitters. After enduring eight consecutive losses to Creamline, they finally conquered their nemesis and secured bragging rights.

While the victory over Creamline provided a sense of accomplishment for PLDT, their overall campaign ended with them missing out on the playoffs. However, this impressive win can serve as a springboard for future success. The team can build on this momentum and strive for a stronger performance in the upcoming PVL seasons.

The Creamline Cool Smashers, coming off a dominant win against Choco Mucho, couldn't replicate their success against PLDT. Despite Jema Galanza's 16 points and Tots Carlos' 12 points off the bench, Creamline faltered and fell to a surprising defeat. This loss drops them to the fourth seed in the playoffs, with an 8-3 record.

The focus now shifts to the highly anticipated semifinals, which begin on Tuesday, April 30th at the PhilSports Arena. The four remaining teams will battle it out for a coveted spot in the best-of-three finals. In case the second and third-ranked teams end up tied in the standings, a playoff game will be held to determine the finalist.
