The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) will delay the opening of Season 48 until October to support Gilas Pilipinas' international campaigns.

The PBA On Tour is a preseason exhibition series of games organized by the PBA. It was launched to bring PBA games to smaller venues and fans, and to fill the gap between seasons.

The 2023 PBA On Tour kicked off on May 21. The series will run until July 30, 26 days before the FIBA World Cup kicks off on August 25, and will feature all 12 PBA teams.

The games will be played in four venues in Metro Manila and four provinces. In Metro Manila, the games will be held at the Ynares Pasig Sports Arena, Ynares Antipolo Sports Arena, Caloocan Sports Complex, and the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan. In the provinces, the games will be held at the Batangas Coliseum, Tiaong Municipal Gymnasium in Quezon, Baliwag Sports Complex in Bulacan, and the Dumaguete City Coliseum.
