A selection from Gilas Pilipinas training poll will face the PBA Luzon All-Star selection in Lucena City on Friday, April 28, 2017.
The Luzon selection will be coach by Leo Austrial and will be led by veterans Jayson Castro, Ranidel de Ocampo, Marc Pingris, Japeth Aguilar and Calvin Abueva.
For Gilas, Chot Reyes will have young players led by Matthew Wright, Kevin Ferrer, Mike Tolomia and Ed Daquioag.
Aside from All-Star game, the Slam Dunk Competition, 3-point Shootout and the Obstacle Challenge will also happen in Lucena.
Another highlight of the Luzon event in Lucena is the announcement of the Final 12 for the SEABA Championship slated May 12-18 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
