Kent Salado scored 25 points, including the the game-winner in overtime, to lead the Arellano Chiefs to a 73-72 victory over JRU Heavy Bombers in the first round of NCAA Season 93 men’s basketball tournament Tuesday (July 18) at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Zach Nicholls, who had back-to-back triples in the overtime, finished with 13 markers for the Arellano University.
Mark Dela Virgen and Teyety Teodoro scored 15 apiece to led Jose Rizal University.
