Chezka Centeno keep her women's 9 ball singles title after defeating her compatriot Rubilen Amit, 7-6, in the 2017 SEA Games on Sunday, August 27 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Centeno, the 18-year-old Filipina billiards player from Zamboanga City, who gave the Philippines its 19th gold in the biennial event, also beat Amit in the 2015 SEA Games.

Amit controlled the match early with a 3-0 lead but Centeno rallied to tie the game at 6-all. In the last rack, Amit committed a scratch on the 7-ball, and it was costly, with the Centeno snatching the 7-6 win as a result.
