The Blackwater Elite regained their winning ways after defeating the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, 98-92, in the 2019 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Sunday, June 2
Allein Maliksi led the Elite with 19 points and four rebounds. Bobby Ray Parks and Mike Digregorio each added 16 markers.

Alex Stepheson, who struggled from the free throw line with 3-of11, still finished with 13 points and 20 rebounds.
Blackwater improved to 4-1 record.
The Elasto Painters managed to cut the lead as close as 94-90 on a free throw made by Denzel Bowles with 22 seconds left. However, free throws by Digregorio sealed the win for the Elite.
Denzel Bowles led the Rain or Shine with 26 points and 6 rebounds. James Yap contributed 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists, while Ed Daquioag and Mark Borboran added 10 points apiece in the loss.
Rain or Shine dropped to 0-2 in the ongoing Commissioner’s Cup.
