Ateneo Blue Eagles remained undefeated at 4-0 with a 63-46 victory over FEU Tamaraws in the First Round of the UAAP Season 82 Men's Basketball tournament on Saturday, September 14 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Ange Kouame led the Blue Eagles with 14 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocks. Thirdy Ravena also had a double-double with his 12 markers, 10 boards, and two blocks.
Both teams struggled offensively, with Blue Eagles shooting 32-percent and the Tamaraws shooting 29-percent.
However, Ateneo forced the FEU to 17 turnovers. Those forced turnovers was converted into 18 points by the Blue Eagles.
FEU, who dropped their standings to 1-2, was led by Barkley Ebona and Xyrus Torres with eight points apiece.
