Valandre Chauca, Jerrick Ahanmisi and the defense of the Soaring Falcons led the Adamson in a fourth quarter comeback to beat the UST Growling Tigers, 78-71, in the UAAP Season 82 Men's Basketball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena on Wednesday, September 18.
A 16-0 run late in the final period carried the Falcons to a stunning win over the Tigers.
Chauca led the charged as he scored 11 of his 18 points in the fourth period to go with eight assists and six rebounds. Ahanmisi finished with 24 markers as they improved to 3-2 win-loss record.
UST, who went scoreless in the last three minutes, was led by Soulemane Chabi Yo with 17 points and 15 rebounds.
CJ Cansino, Sherwin Concepcion, and Mark Nonoy had 10 points each for the Tigers, who dropped their record to 3-2.
