PSC postpones sports events amid novel coronavirus threat

The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) has temporarily postponed its sports events and other activities amid the global outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus acute respiratory disease (2019-nCoV ARD).

This was officially announced during the press conference held today, February 6, 2020, at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum, Manila.

PSC Chairman Butch Ramirez announced that the two national sporting events Batang Pinoy and the Philippine National Games (PNG), as well as the National Sports Summit 2020 and the Children’s Games, will be moved to a later date.
