The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) will finally return and tip off its 46th season with the Philippine Cup on July 16 as approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).
The PBA will have their games in the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City and will adopt a 'closed circuit semi-bubble' set up. The players and officials will strictly follow a home-arena-home transportation format.
The matches will be placed behind closed doors as fans will not be allowed in the venue.
The Philippine Cup follows a single round robin elimination format to determine the team standing, with the top eight advancing to the playoffs.
