In a thrilling match, the Creamline Cool Smashers, guided by Tots Carlos and Alyssa Valdez, achieved an impressive five-set win against Cignal. The final score was 23-25, 25-16, 25-21, 24-26, 15-10.
Carlos, the reigning conference's Most Valuable Player, played a crucial role, contributing 27 points with 25 successful attacks for Creamline.
Valdez played exceptionally well for the second consecutive game, scoring 22 points composed of 18 attacks, two aces, and a block, including crucial kills in the fifth set, helping the Cool Smashers maintain their perfect record of three wins in the semifinals.
Jema Galanza made a significant contribution to the team's success, showcasing an all-around game with 21 points, 17 digs, and eight excellent receptions.
Ces Molina displayed an MVP-worthy performance, scoring a match-high 28 points. However, despite her efforts, the HD Spikers couldn't secure a victory and ended with a 1-2 record.
