The 19th Asian Games, also known as Hangzhou 2022, is scheduled to feature 481 events in 40 sports involving athletes from 45 countries.

The medals tally of the Asian Games 2022/2023 will be decided on the number of gold medals won by a nation. With the nations tied at gold medals, the second yardstick to measure is on the silver medals and then bronze. If the teams are still tied, they would be given equal ranking and will be listed alphabetically by IOC country code.

In the 2018 Asian Games, China has topped the medal table for the 10th successive times with a total of 289 medals including 132 gold, 92 silver and 65 bronze.

Japan came second with 205 medals including 75 gold, 56 silver and 74 bronze.

South Korea ranked third place with 177 medals including 49 gold, 58 silver and 70 bronze.

The Philippines won 21 medals at the 2018 Asian Games, including 4 gold, 2 silver, and 15 bronze. This impressive haul propelled them to 19th place in the overall medal tally.
