Gilas Pilipinas were outplayed by Canada 3D Global Sports, 77-90 in Day 1 of 2017 William Jones Cup on Saturday (July 15) at the Taipei Peace International Basketball Hall, Taipei.
Garret Williamson led the Canada in scoring with 15 points. Joey Haywood, Deigo Kapelan, and Michale Kyser chipped in with 12 points apiece.
Kiefer Ravena and Bobby Ray Parks, and Carl Bryan Cruz paced the Gilas with 12, 11 and 10 points, respectively.
