Philippines will tip-off against Indonesia for the third time in the finals of the SEA Games men's basketball tournament.

The Philippines men's national basketball team have won the last two finals, beating the Indonesian team in 2013 and 2015.

The Gilas Pilipinas is still undefeated in the 2017 event. They beat Singapore in the semifinals, 68-60, to advance to the gold medal game.

For Indonesia, they survived Thailand, 79-74, en route to the final.
