Gilas Pilipinas defeated Singapore 68-60 in the semifinals of the Men's Basketball tournament in the 2017 SEA Games on Friday, August 25 to advance to the gold medal game.
Troy Rosario led Gilas with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Christian Standhardinger added 13 markers and 11 boards for a double-double of his own.
Singapore stayed right behind Philippines, after the Gilas players shot an awful 3-of-22 from the three-point area. They finished the game shooting 38 percent from the field while making 26-of-68 shots.
Russel Low Wenqiang paced the Singapore, who will meet Thailand in the bronze medal game, with 14 points.
The Philippine will face Indonesia in the finals.
