Aries Toledo finished with 6849 points en route to the gold medal victory over Thailand’s Suttisak Singkon (6678), who settled for silver, and Bui Van Su of Vietnam (6207), who took the bronze medal, in the Men's Decathlon at the 2017 SEA Games on Wednesday, August 23.
The 23-year old first-timer Toledo gave the Philippines its ninth gold.
