Trenten Anthony Beram romps to 200m gold in 2017 SEA Games; 10th gold for Philippines

Trenten Anthony Beram romped to 200m gold in a time of 20.84 seconds to add one more to Philippines' tally on Wednesday, August 23, in the 2017 SEA Games.

The 21-year gold medalist beat Thai runner Jirapong Meenapara (21.22) and Thevarr Gunasegaran of Malaysia (21.26), who settled for silver and bronze, respectively.


The Philippines has now 10 golds, 15 silvers, and 20 bronzes in the multi-sport event involving participants from the countries of Southeast Asia.
