The Houston Rockets' number two pick Jalen Green outdueled the first pick of the 2021 NBA Draft, Cade Cunningham, when they played the Detroit Pistons in NBA Summer League.
Green had 25 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal in the 111-91 win, while Cunningham finished with 20 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and 1 block.

Following up his 23-point debut in Vegas, Green's 25 points came on 6-of-11 shooting and 3-of-5 from long range.
The Filipino-American rookie got more offensive help from his teammates to record their second victory at the Summer League.
While all eyes were on the top two picks, Houston's No. 16 overall pick Alperen Sengun controlled the paint with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks. Rookie guard Josh Christopher, the No. 24 selection of the Rockets, scored 15 points (50% FG) and dished out a game-high 7 assists.
