Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray put on a historic performance in Game 3, becoming the first NBA teammates to each record a triple-double with at least 30 points in the same game, regular season, playoffs or finals.
Jokic put up a triple-double with 32 points, 21 rebounds, and 10 assists to lead the Nuggets to a victory. He became the first player in NBA Finals history to record at least 30 points, 20 rebounds, and 10 assists in a game. The two-time NBA Most Valuable Player played 44 minutes and shot 12-of-21 from the field and 1-of-2 from three-point range.
After a relatively subdued 18-point performance in Game 2, Murray came alive in the first half by scoring an impressive 20 points. Ultimately, he achieved a remarkable triple-double with 32 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.
Off the bench, rookie Christian Braun delivered an outstanding performance for the Nuggets, contributing 15 points and four rebounds. He showcased impressive shooting accuracy, going 7-of-8 from the field and making all his free throws, going 1-of-1 from the line.
Jimmy Butler led Miami with 28 points, while Bam Adebayo added 22 points and 17 rebounds. Caleb Martin chipped in with 10 points.
The NBA Finals continue Saturday morning (Philippine Time) as the Miami Heat host the Denver Nuggets in Game 4.
