In a thrilling encounter, Choco Mucho triumphed over Petro Gazz's determined comeback effort, ultimately securing a hard-fought victory with a scoreline of 25-22, 25-15, 22-25, 18-25, 15-10.
This significant win further solidifies Choco Mucho's position and strengthens their bid for a coveted spot in the semifinals of the 2023 PVL Invitational Conference. Sisi Rondina showcased her exceptional skills once again, resetting her career-high in the PVL with an impressive 29 points. Her outstanding performance included 25 successful attacks and four aces, leading the way for the Flying Titans. With this victory, Choco Mucho soared to a 3-1 record, accumulating a total of nine points in the tournament.
Cherry Nunag contributed with 13 points, demonstrating her versatility by also recording four blocks. Des Cheng and Caitlin Viray each contributed 12 points
Petro Gazz saw a standout performance from Jonah Sabete, who led the team with an impressive 16 points. Adding to the offensive firepower, Grethcel Soltones contributed 15 points, while Aiza Maizo-Pontillas and Rem Palma made valuable contributions with 14 and 12 points, respectively.
